In Palma Nova the summer tourist will find absolutely nothing lacking. The large sized beaches with crystalline waters and white sand are quite impressive. The promenade was especially designed so that people of all ages can enjoy this area to the full. Palma Nova is, without doubt, one of the best resorts on the island.

General Information:
Most of the action takes place on the three fine gently shelving sandy beaches separated by low headlands and backed by a long promenade.

Where to go:
The beach is accompanied by a wide range of hotels and a huge variety of complementary services; cafes, restaurants, shops etc. The majority in front on a beautiful seafront promenade, the starting point of which is a small marina. The promenade was especially designed so that people of all ages can enjoy this area to the full.

Getting Around:
Getting Around: Travelling around Palma Nova is easy on foot, and the TIB bus service (red and yellow buses) which connects towns and cities with the capital city Palma offers a good, frequent service during the summer season, however the timetables are reduced considerably during winter.

Attractions:
The beach nearest the yacht harbour is largely devoted to watersports, with activities ranging from windsurfing to parasailing. There are also boat trips to Palma and Magaluf. Golf Fantasia is a 54-hole mini-golf course behind the seafront promenade, and for more serious golfers there are several courses in the area. For shopping and sightseeing, there are regular buses to Palma, with its Gothic Cathedral and specialist backstreet shops.

Facilities:
Marineland, just outside Palma Nova, features performing dolphins and sea lions, parrot shows, sharks and family entertainment. It is situated not far from the marina at Portals Nous, where film stars and members of the Spanish royal family can be seen relaxing aboard their yachts.

Nightlife:
Restaurants, bars and clubs line the seafront promenade, including a couple of terrace bars overlooking the beach. The emphasis is firmly international, with restaurants offering British, Chinese, Italian and Mexican cuisine as well as Spanish. For serious nightlife, stroll around the headland to Magaluf, with its many bars, clubs and discos.
